Have you ever met any actually intelligent people on imageboards?
Actually yes, but they all had mental health problems at some point.
>>3416 Yes. But they are as scarce as in the real World. Think of the Normalverteilung and the Gauß-Kurve.
>>3426 >>3430 How did you determine they were smart
I've met some people from KC back in 2013 or so. Some of them were smart, some just cringe-inducingly autistic. Still friends with a few of them)))))
>>3416 Those are usually guys with a based opinion which goes against the mass, so the user is trolled and has to leave. Me for example.
>>3450 I don't think someone who is actually intelligent says he's intelligent.

Yes - pretty much every Finn. Including me ;_)
>>3452 Usually not. But I use Twitter, and if you know Twitter, you'll quickly believe you're Einstein. I see e.g. facts being denied based on meme pics used as proof daily.
Eastern European programmer type Bernds have usually been intelligent seeming types Almodt all Israeli posters on KC seem intelligent, alao much more polite than a typucal Bernd
>>3476 Did Israeli oldfags return because they are masochistic? Thats basically like women going to a gamer convention.
>>3416 in the earlier days of nu-KC, there were two different French chefs, proper ones, also an ER dogtor who might have been French too I think, many interesting conversations were had a few decent coders lurk sometimes, also lockdowns were a bit of a revival of signal in noise, miss those days sadly many such high-functioning burgers got married or worse, and it takes a few years for them to come back into the fold again
No, I never looked for them.
>>3416 >>4497 I miss SaffaBrit the most. I hope he's doing well. He left just before original KC's death. Apparently, he pissed off one of the moderators and got banned for a short while but briefly returned. Seeing that he no longer had the spirit to keep posting, he left for greener pastures. Hope he's doing well.
Define intelligence then maybe.
>>4511 I think OP means actually adding to the conversation, sharing unique ideas or esoteric information that's actually insightful and/or clever. People who have substance over noise.
You dont meet people on imagebaords you meet opinions
>>4513 How do judge that based on a forum post though
>>4513 I did that all the time, but usually it drowns in all the noise or gets ignored, so eventually I just stuck with fun posting.
>>4513 Ok well then I say that with 4 words this added to the conversation quite nicely so I think I’m a little smart +made /sci/ on KC.rip so we can talk about bioballs and quantum chemiball. So I can say yes I had met people on KC that add to conversations, in fact I see these people a lot.
>>4522 Is KC.rip actually RIP by the way?
>>4523 Last time I went there the overboard was taken over by a constant diarrhea stream of sudaca threads in Spanish, so I counted that casey as done for tbh.
>>4523 >>4524 >>4525 It exists as bernd.group t. occasional poster.
>>4523 >KC.rip actually RIP by the way? No, we fight wars there it is a True shame that even in death KC is still at war. >>4524 Yes there was a time when It was but shortly after I was became a mod /HS/ was brought down and guess who helped save KC. >>4526 >occasional poster. Do you got any good threads or funny one liners?
>>4527 Not lately. I did crosspost some threads but made more unique ones even if shitposty: https://bernd.group/int/345272 https://bernd.group/int/340363 https://bernd.group/int/340355 https://bernd.group/int/340193 https://bernd.group/int/238224 This one made a Kraut absolutely bootyblasted: https://bernd.group/int/144274
>>4529 >ask me anything Oh you’re that guy, your threads seem fun to respond to. If I may ask what happened between threads 238224 and 340193 you seemed to gone for a long period of time.
>>4532 I'm a guy who craves instant responses, so that's why I stopped posting for awhile. I definitely made other threads including Restaurant Red Flags that I struggle to locate at the moment.
>>4529 RAC is trash and you always spam instead of posting individual gems
>>4534 Not my fault you can't listen to each song and decide which ones you like. If you noticed, I posted exactly ONE album here in the music thread and let others judge for themselves. That album, to me, is very compelling especially the songs "Hermann der Cherusker" and "Europa". Draw your own conclusions. Also, music threads have 0 life if nobody fucking responds to what's being posted.
>>4535 Just listen to what is posted, if you want. If not, don't. No comments needed.
>>4535 >I posted exactly ONE album here Spread out over 20 files instead of zipping it like any sane person would.
>>4533 >I'm a guy who craves instant responses Well Bernd.group must be hell for you. Sorry that the rate is so low that’s the most common reason why Bernds don’t post on there, hard fix.
Not in the last 10 years.
>>4538 Ah, found it! https://bernd.group/int/176175 Other miscellaneous threads made by yours truly, some of them very shitposty: https://bernd.group/int/185424 https://bernd.group/int/175280 https://bernd.group/int/175468 https://bernd.group/int/167622 https://bernd.group/int/166427 https://bernd.group/int/164792 https://bernd.group/int/162430 https://bernd.group/int/161359 https://bernd.group/int/100887 https://bernd.group/int/86287
>>3430 >But they are as scarce as in the real World. That would imply that the average Bernd is just as average as a normal person. I STRONGLY doubt that.
>>4557 Do you think that the internet elite is more skewed towards the high-IQ side or that the literal retards pull the average down?
>>4559 So, on average, we're average.
>>4551 Wow you had been there for a long time.
Define "intelligent". Bernd hat met lots of people who were experts in some field and from whom Bernd learned a lot. That doesn't mean those same people weren't often idiots in some regard.
