Bernd saw big old trees on rocks, younger trees by the lake, and dead trees in the lake

Bernd saw swans too, and swans saw Bernd. They were at the end of the lake where it's swampy.

Why are Finnish forests so beautyfull.

Bernd saw a red mushroom trying to hide and took a picture of it before continuing to the swampy forest.

Bernd found more mushrooms in the forest.

Another lake with some berries and more mushrooms. It started getting cloudy so Bernd went home.

Imagine having a tiny, cozy hut there and live from fish, mushrooms, deers and boars.

Wow. In Germany, autumn has progressed much further than that. The birches here are golden brown.

OP, what is your opinion about Kongjian Yu sponge cities concept? Do you think lakes, rivers, wetlands are essential for sane human life?

This pic is taken at the same lake about five years ago 28th of September 2020. >>12638 "Sponge cities" have been the norm here always so to me it's just the normal way of building cities. It never occurred to me that it has the benefit of preventing flooding but I guess it makes sense. I don't know about essential but the presence of water nearby does seem to have a positive effect on people. It is afterall the requisite for life so having it around is probably hardcoded into most animals as something that gives a better mood.
