I live in West Berlin and just saw such a bird on a tree for the first time in my life. I feel ecstatic! I hope they stay for the winter and produce much offspring.
Escaped from the zoo or what?
>>12117 Escaped from private owners most likely or it's the first offspring of the others who have nested here: https://www.rbb24.de/panorama/beitrag/2025/03/berlin-halsbandsittiche-in-kreuzberg-neukoelln-interview-wildtierreferent-derk-ehlert.html
That's a joke, isn't it? They're a pest. They're an invasive species that replaces native ones. Imagine what they tell you on /pol/, only it's real and with birds instead of niggers.
>>12119 Yeah I'll take these over niggers, thanks.
>>12120 Why choose when you can simply not have both?
We have thousands of them. They don't bother me too much, they behave. Nile geese and Canadian geese should be shot t. Düsseldorf
>>12136 > Nile geese and Canadian geese So much this. I simply can't get over how the Nile geese we see here in Germany apparently can be traced back to Dutch idiots holding them in private gardens. They're so fucking ugly, who could ever put such an animal in their garden.
>>12136 >>12143 >Nile geese and Canadian geese what's wrong with them? just the looks? don't think I've those even
>>12145 Many things actually: Their size and the size of their poop, you can't walk onto the lawn without stepping into their dog shit sized piles Their sheer amount (seen up to 100 of them at one spot) Their aggressiveness They also bully local wildlife such as regular ducks Nutrias should be shot as well btw
>>12145 They procreate at an absurd rate. Bernd has seen them have up to 12 young ones twice a year, wiht the first young hatching in February. >>12173 > Nutrias should be shot as well btw Nutrias are being shot.
