im 30 years old just started cooking burgers at home, though first 26 years dad would yell at me for cooking because his father didnt beat his ass and teach him how to not to be a nigger. love the burgers. make em with onion, cheese, tomatto, did a pbj burger last night. just use plain wheat bread i fry a little bit in the burger juice
>dad would yell at me for cooking because his father didnt beat his ass and teach him how to not to be a nigger what does it even mean? the previous two generations of your family thought that cooking at home is somehow degrading?
A month ago I started primarily eating vegan fake meat products instead of real meat. I don't want to eat the cheap industrial produced meat anymore and the vegan stuff is way cheaper than organic meat.
>>11058 Ew, what the hell Bernd.
>>11058 >vegan fake meat products It would be cheaper and healthier to just eat beans etc. Those fake meat products are full of salt and shit and they're ultra processed expensive crap.
>>11056 imagine the drunk dude on the stairs of your commie flat who was a serf for hundreds of years moved to america and became wealthy, then their were people who were very smart and evil that had full time jobs thinking up how to make this person spend more. This is America, for some >>11064 (some) Vegan products are actually pretty tasty because its ultra processed crap like chips. once you get over the mental hurdle i could see a lot of popularity
>>11060 It tastes somewhere between nothing and a little strange and has a nice consistency. Even when I eat meat I usually add some kind of sauce to give it flavor and don't give a shit about how the meat tastes exactly. There is really nothing to it. >>11064 They might be heavily processed but there are no strange sounding ingredients in the ingredient list. In contrast to industrial meat where the animals live in filth and are pumped up with medication I believe it is the healthier alternative. Beans and lentils in bigger amounts make me fart like crazy.
>>11068 I actually now recall that there's this Stranger Than Paradise movie about how a girl from Hungary moved to the US in the 1950s so there's a scene when the guy she's living with eats some frozen lunch and it's a complete novelty to her
>>11064 >Those fake meat products are full of salt and shit and they're ultra processed expensive crap. There's a wide variety, some have ingredient lists longer than the bible, others are like >Water, pea protein 33%, pea fibers, rapeseed oil, salt, vitamin B12. Also, they're not more salty than what I would put on meat and at least in Switzerland, they're often much cheaper than real meat. Especially when it's discounted. Meat also gets discounted, but I would take the best before date much more serious on meat than on some plant-based crap.
>>11121 in the US meat is cheaper than vegan from farming subsidies, it makes it doubly frowned upon being as rich yuppie's choice
My mum used to often cook two meals because my dad refused to eat pasta or anything like that. He calls it wog food. So if she wanted it she had to cook him something different.
>>11118 I don't really like her, Tenten is the best character in Naruto.
>>11118 Peak useless character
