Someone in my commieblock started loudly hammering at 7 in the morning.
You survived all the lawnmowing noises in summer so you survive this as well.
>>10951 >all the lawnmowing noises yeah, these fuckers are very annoying
My upstairs neighbor is a fat middle aged asshole woman who starts running on her heels like an elephant on rampage at 6:30 in the morning so that it makes massive noise and the whole building trembles. She refuses to stop. She does it every day the same time. It's impossible to sleep in here but the building administration won't do anything because "the noises of normal living, like walking, are allowed". Every day the whole day I have to listen to this "THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP" noise and feel as the building trembles as she furiously walks back and forth in her apartment banging her heels to the floor.
>>10958 Just engage in psychological warfare
>>10950 People, who are night owls are always discriminated against. Today I went to bed at 3AM and would go insane, if someone starts hammering at 7AM. People shouldn't be allowed to be loud until 10AM or something. >>10958 I would start looking for a different apartment. That's completely unacceptable for me.
Try these. You can sleep with them no problem, just move the alarm clock closer or you'll miss it. t. elephant child upstairs survivor
>>10951 I have no idea why basically all evolved countries have strict laws about noise pollution, but new gas-powered lawn mowers, leaf blowers etc. can still legally be sold while their electric (and usually also superior) counterparts have been available for years. Same goes for motorbikes and motor scooters.
>>10958 Reminds me of my last apartment. My bedroom was right between the stairwell of our house compartment and the stairwell of the other house compartment. Every morning at the same time I heard heels clacking, probably some woman going to work.
This is how nazism started.
>>11296 >while their electric (and usually also superior) counterparts No electric device can achieve the same power as a gas-powered one (yet), especially if it's using a battery, and if it does, it doesn't do that for as long (yet). Plus, back then (tm) when batteries weren't as good as today you had cables everywhere, and mowing 400m² while having to take care not to mow your own power cord SUCKS. Electric stuff is ok for small frontyards that are kept english, and tiny hedges and townhouse 10m² green spot amount of leaves, or for being as mobile as possible if you're often doing work in the woods, but for actual work there's (yet) no way around combustion engines.
