I'm COOOOMING watching new Menace gameplay. Whaddabout you, Bernd?
>>12582 >I don't want to waste your time. I just want to waste MY OWN time.

>Menace That's from the Battle Brothers guys, right? Then I'm cooming as well. And giving them another year time in early access. At the very minimum.
>>12592 I'm not learning German to post on b about Genshin...
I never played Battle Brothers. Menace looks interesting though.

Yeah yeah, I forgot to route out spent uranium cells and also the water connection for both middle lanes of heat exchangers. Also some green hue was necessary. But all of that is fixed now and the power plant is humming along perfectly fine, completely eliminating accumulator usage at night. Just ignore that it looks like Moth Man on radar... surely no sign of things to happen later. The experimental space platform is breddy much finished for what it's good for by attaching some thrusters, still have to find out how to fire them. I thought I can accelerate in orbit to increase resource generation, but it seems I first have to research a destination. A more dedicated copy of that platform will do the trip.

>>12573 Avorion and Empyrion come to mind, both not really RPG but rewarding exploration with better gear or cash which allows to further build better ships. Especially Empyrion is deeper as the first look after starting early survival reveals, as planetary survival heavily implies just a quick asset flip, while there is actually quite some progression through space to tech up.

Also it's fun that you can bomb enemy outposts via space ship and once the base it neutered, fly up close and go in personally why your space ship acts as hovering weapons platform to provide cover fire. Then build yourself a carrier to deploy on different planets and kick some native ass, there's even some primitive and friendly factions, SPAAAAACE casinos to gamble or raid and POI are all handcrafted via voxels, so it's sometimes nice to find a cheese or secrets when exploring an abandoned but not empty mine or whatever. Should be really playing some Empyrion again some time...

On the weekend I'm going to finally try out Vigilant to see if it's worth all the hype. Then I'll probably go back to Morrowind to check out the new TR stuff.

>want to play Silent Hill F >FullPrice >its more like Siren (Combat/Gameplay Wise) >want Ghost of Yotei >Black Friday around the Corner >Project Zero 2 Crimons Butterfly Remake announced >Its the fucking WII Remake not the Ps2 OG or i just replay the OG on my PS2. ( i cant believe ebay want 100 euros for this)
>>12644 Get a PS2 emulator then, works perfectly fine these days.
>>12606 Nice! That is a very pretty nuclear facility and a professional looking space platform. >the research one probably better stays in place for a trickle of iron plates and science This is what I did. There's a repeatable technology to research that increases asteroid crushing productivity which I think is learnt on Gleba. I maybe increased it too much on my playthrough...

Finally used those large labs I handcrafted ages ago and improved research a bit, still a lot of old crafters used there with room for improvement. Lots of stupid little improvements while looking around the base to be done, meanwhile loading the platform to Vulcanus takes countless of rockets, construction being long done. Some more trains into the main base, the refining capabilities there were thoroughly lacking. And finally all loading is done and Bernd may take off to another planet! Probably going to watch some video how to install some throttling logic into the engines, but this will already be done in person on board, ready to reach into the mostly unknown. >>12676 >increased it too much Yeah... I'm getting the same vibes from the mining increase tech, trying to deconstruct in person is like micronuking whatever the cursor hits on accident.
>>12602 Who said that you had to?

And off we go! The platform purring like a pussycat, the whole trip only putting a dent into the fuel reserves. Already sent the platform back to Nauvis to get more supplies and weapons, if something breaks that can only be fixed in person, I'm royally fugged, while experience tells that it will happen sooner or later. The weapons are needed for the upcoming demolisher hunt. Landmines to lure them into with a bunch of turrets in ambush and popped defender capsules, luckily only spotting small demolishers for now.
>>12746 You should. It was a good experience. What is your opinion on Amnesia: The Bunker?
>>12726 The last post in the last thread.
I'm currently replaying the DKC trilogy for like the 300th time.
>>12816 Only played The Dark Descent back in the day. The last horror game I played was Silent Hill 2 remake last year which was a mixed experience. Way more combat-oriented than the original which made it more tense but also became a slog near the end.

Really liking how the engines are working, that simple idiot proof circuit with just a single input is perfect. With the renewed draw on the mall and rocket parts, I upgraded the old circuit printers to the latest factory models and added a few banks for reds and blues. Next best thing to do would be setting up level 2 modules, seems as they'd be quite an improvement all over the place. I remember when I was low-key mad that I just finished setting up the damn long perimeter wall and then proceed to loose interest in the game. Going from just 1 or two set up mines in the outer layer to this fills Bernds heart with joy to be honest :3 Also that demolisher may fuck right off my new base, still hauling in stuff by the metric shittons while very slowly setting up. Gotta claim some territory sooner or later.

>>12598 >>12603 Yeah, same guys. Demo releases in a couple days too.
>>12789 >>12837 Nice! That's a pretty nifty circuit and I like how you're doing the crushers. Will you be able to defeat the worms? Maybe you would prefer to ride them.
>>12837 How is the space part? Are you still motivated? Whenever I reached the rocket in original factorio I always was at a point that I had played long enough that I was getting sick of the game.
>>12883 Regular rockets in Space Age come way earlier than in base game and take less resources. Space platforms make you revisit your processes and work more space-efficient. Planets all have a gimmick you have to work around. Except Aquilo, which has the gimmick of "fuck you no fun allowed".
>>12883 SpaceAge completes the game. Each planet and moving between them meaningfully changes how you think of doing things. It's a cohesive and beautiful expansion that all games should aspire to. >>12891 Aquilo is somehow disappointing compared to the other planets. I really wish there were more to explore and I do want to try some of the planet mods that are being made, but the vanilla experience as it is now just feels so perfect that I hesitate to.

>>12883 Pretty nice so far, haven't played Factorio much before the space addon, but it does feel a bit different, maybe because the space parts are a bit more gimmicky. >>12880 >>12901 Damn, worm got hands. First round of jousting in a car while spamming poison and defender capsules didn't went so well. Lost the car and then my life. Then I imported the parts for an attack chopper and more landmines for plans B and C. >a cohesive and beautiful expansion What's best about it, it's a true expansion like we used to have in the good old days. You can really imagine going to your trusted vidya vendor and suddenly finding this boxed on a shelf for 20, as was style at that time. No Paradox micro-addons or DLC bullshit. You liked the base game? Great, here's a fuckton more of it.
>>12877 Glad to see it make progress, the settis looks very alluring, they just need to make it BB2:Future Warfare for an easy victory basically.
I have never actually played Factoria. I'm going to give it a try.
>>12930 Protip: Don't fight worms head-on. Just make a turret condom and let it slip it.
Okay, I gathering and smelting set up for iron, copper and steel. I still haven't been attacked yet though, how does that work? When do they attack?
>>12943 Iron, copper and coal I meant.

Yesyesyesnononononono come back here damnit >_< Damn worms keep outsmarting Bernd, but he thinks to finally have noticed a pattern. They do destroy cliffs and if you observe every territory, there's a clean path running around the border for each worm. Brb, shipping more mines and bots to Vulcanus to proof a point! Soon making the first foundry, also stage 2 modules set up. Will be a pain to slowly exchange modules AND to not forget to use them in new builds. >>12942 You mean like in set them up right into the path of the destroya, trying to sandwich it in between?
>>12951 >You mean like in set them up right into the path of the destroya, trying to sandwich it in between? Like a condom, yeah. You could also just make a proper "field" of turrets; when the first one hits it will just smash into them, but with everything around it still standing it will get swiss cheesed. The first few ranks will probably get destroyed, but with uranium rounds and physical damage bonus a small/medium worm gets deleted in a moment. Never had to expand so far that I would have needed to kill a larger one, though. I determined how to set them up by putting a bunch of walls in the worm's path to see where exactly the boundary boxes are.
>>12952 >Uranium rounds Ooooooh right, forgot about those completely. Was fighting with piercing rounds, as they were a byproduct of defender capsule production, but uranium ammo surely will fare better against those worms. Then I can even imagine that turret condom, should work great with the heavy gun turrets I got.
>>12946 Anybody, I have set up power and am setting up production but haven't worked on defense and don't know when I should.
>>12955 Check your map with tab to see where your pollution spreads, once the clouds hits biters they'll become agitated. You can take out nests before your cloud hits them to more or less be ahead of the wave and keep your base safe.
>>12954 Yeah you don't really need uranium rounds, but I prefer overkill in everything. That said, uranium anything has a horrible volume ratio. You can only ever get a handful of uranium anything into a rocket, so if you don't have a good delivery system already setup, using the red ones is probably fine too.

Another copper plate drop which feeds as bypass deeper into the production lines, the new module plant also gets ironed out with two green circuit bypasses and lastly the increased copper demand asks for the next copper mine to be explored. Finally everything all veiny, swollen and thicc again, this pleases Bernd deep inside. >>12963 I got 8 rockets and the means to fire them, already decided that I'm not going to set up multiple malls for the same stuff on other planets. Uranium rounds soon finishing research :3
