Green people who oppose nuclear energy are insane.
First they talk about reducing fossil fuel, coal and gas use, then they attack the only source that would enable this.
I understand that accidents like Chernobyl are highly publicized and thus deeply impact the public discourse, but to go from this to shutting down nuclear energy when 18% of a country whole energy consumption comes from nuclear power stations, is insane.
These are the same people who have no problem in raising their kids in a city where you inhale coal from the air all winter.
How come a country like Korea, China or Russia keep using nuclear with no protest against it?
