White lacks that carrot flavor and purple has a weird flavor I can't describe, like a beet but not as strong, while yellow is a mild carrot flavor. They sell them here but orange carrots are so much cheaper and better. The colored ones are more for cooking to impress people.

Purple carrots taste better than orange in meals shepherd's pie. The deep pink look too much like dog doodles.
