I think global warming is real and not just a woke conspiracy like the brain damaged shizo pedos on kohlchan say.
I also think that but I wlso think that properly filtered coal, gas and garbage burning plants are cool for cheap energy and getting rid of garbage.
I simply don't care, but that is already an unacceptable opinion to go along with. It would function better if this counterweight would be appreciated, especially as it leans more towards adaptation instead of grinding everything to a halt and hoping the whole world will do the same. They won't. Rightfully so.
IMO it might even be real but I don't believe it to be caused by humans.
>>20921 Then you simply just don't understand the concept of >Just one more lane bro! We expanded quite exponential and hopefully will keep this up. Until we aren't spread across many planets, the race of humans isn't safe.
>>20922 Thing is, the exponential expansion in the past was mainly due to population growth. That concept got completely eradicated due to current growth razes of the west and china. 1 child per woman ...
The first problem with contemporary climate debates is that every position gets treated as a simplistic even/or when they're not. eg- it is possible that (i) the Earth goes through hot and cold periods, and also (ii) humans contribute to global warming. It's like one person arguing the car must be cold because the temperature was below freezing, while the second person argues it must be hot because the heaters were turned on.
I generally support ecological movements but find ecological groups retarded to the point I wonder if they're just controlled opposition.
I too, believe in climate change. But the answer to the problem is much more complicated than people make it to be.
Geology says that we're at 70% amplitude of the previous maximum. The bad news is that readouts resemble a positive feedback system.
Yeah, screwed. We have several thousand years to develop spaceships and bugger off from here.
>>21077 See, that's why a good chunk of my funds is in Rocket Lab. Private space exploration is the only logical step to progress from here.
