In the building where I live, everyday at 11 at night, someone turns on Simpsons on a tv at full volume. This goes on until 6 in the morning.
This happens everyday and I sleep with earplugs, so it doesn't disturb me, but it's so unusual.
In my sleep I must have heard the opening with the trumpets a thousand times, over and over again.
Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night to urinate and I can hear a faint dialogue of characters in English.
I came up with several theories about this, that it is an old man who owns a DVD set of the Simpsons, and he needs this as a sleeping aid.
In the morning when I open my window, and I see the trash collection truck going building to building, I can hear the electronic sound of the TV dissipating in the air, so I'm not even sure if it's really in my building, but it's physically very close to me.
What is Bernd opinion of this? Can someone mental health be deeply affected by listening to the Simpsons during sleep?
